Male Charged in Drug Seizure

(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Bracebridge detachment has arrested one male in possession of a large amount of Oxycodone pills during a traffic stop.

On April 2, 2014 at approximately 2:00 pm the Community Drug Action Team (CDAT), the Muskoka Vice Street Crime Unit, the K-9 Unit, and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) arrested a male who is believed to have been selling drugs in the Gravenhurst area. The male was arrested in a traffic stop and was found to be in possession of 200 pills of 80mg Oxycodone.

The drugs were seized by police and have a street value upwards of $15000 dollars.

The 51-year-old male Glenn TONNA of Gravenhurst has been arrested and charged

CDSA 5(2) Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking
CC 354(1)(a) Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada

The male has been held in custody and will attend Bracebridge court the morning of April 3, 2014 to answer to his charges.
