(Madoc Twp, ON) – On April 5, 2014 at 6:40 p.m. members of the O.P.P Highway Safety Division stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway # 62, near Deloro Road in Madoc Township. The vehicle was travelling 139km per hour in a posted 80km zone. As a result, 44 year old Richard GENEREUX of Montreal, QC was charged with Drive Motor Vehicle While Performing a Stunt – Speeding. His driver’s licence was seized and his vehicle was impounded both for a period of seven days. He will appear in Provincial Offences Court, Belleville in early May 2014.
