(South Stormont) -On 06Apr14, at approximately 4:30pm, SD&G OPP officers observed a vehicle eastbound on Highway 401, South Stormont Township travelling at a high rate of speed.
When officers activated their emergency lights the male driver signalled to pull over then sped off. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and the 23yr old male driver (Nalimjoy SIVARAJAH of Montreal, QC) was arrested.
He faces a charge of:
– Flight while Pursued by Peace Officer
He is scheduled to appear 01May14 in Cornwall court.
