(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – Two persons face drug related charges after the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) related warrant.
On Thursday, April 3, 2014 members of the Central Region Drug Enforcement Unit, Emergency Response Unit and K-9 unit attended a residence on Waite Road in the former Manvers Township to execute a CDSA warrant. As a result of the warrant 2377 marihuana plants and 3 236 grams of bulk marihuana were seized.
Patricia FLANNERY, 42 years of age, of Waterdown and John BLAIR, 45 years of age, of the City of Kawartha Lakes, were both arrested and charged with production of marihuana and with possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking.
The accused parties will appear in court in Lindsay on June 5, 2014.
