(EAST ZORRA TAVISTOCK TOWNSHIP, ON) – On April 5, 2014 at approximately 6:15 a.m., Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle in the ditch call on 16th Line. The driver removed the vehicle from the ditch prior to police arrival. The suspected vehicle and driver were located on 16th Line at Oxford Road 8 and the driver was suspected of being impaired due to alcohol.
Jeffrey CHARTRAND, 39 years old of Bright, was arrested and charged with Driving with more than 80mgs of Alcohol in Blood, contrary to the Criminal Codeof Canada. He was released on a Promise to Appear and will appear at a later date at Woodstock Courthouse to answer to the charge.
