(ESSEX COUNTY, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Lakeshore arrested and charged a man with property related offences after an investigation of a break in that had occurred in late March.
A residence in the 300 block of Broadway Street in Belle River was entered and several items were stolen from within the residence. One of those stolen items was a gift card that was used in Windsor, and the image of the suspect was captured on video surveillance cameras.
Mark LAPORTE, age 41 of Lakeshore, was charged with Break and Enter and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000. He was held for a bail hearing.
