(Quinte West, ON) – On Saturday April 12, 2014, Quinte West OPP arrested a 17 year old Trenton male for theft and breach of a probation order. The investigation began when the young person’s mother reported to Police that several electronics had been stolen from her home. The investigation revealed that her son was responsible for the thefts. It was also found that the young person was currently on a probation order which had been breached. Quinte West OPP received information that the accused was walking down Barry Road in Trenton. He was arrested there a short time later. The young person has been charged with three counts of Theft Under $5000 and Fail to Comply with Disposition. The young person was released on a Promise to Appear and Officer In Charge Undertaking with a court date set in May 2014.
