(PLYMPTON-WYOMING, ON) On April 11, 2014 at around 11:20 p.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) checkpoint at the intersection of Mandaumin Road and Egremont Road.
A Cadillac car entered the RIDE checkpoint and while speaking with the driver, officers determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages. Subsequent tests indicated that 57 year old Larry SMITH, who is from Port Huron, Michigan, was over the legal limit. He will appear in a Sarnia court on May 26, 2014 to answer to the charges of being over the legal limit.
