(Peterborough County, ON) – On Saturday May 10, 2014 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is providing a location and is encouraging the public to dispose of old and unused prescription medications safely and to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.
From 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. this Saturday, residents from the County of Peterborough and the City of Peterborough can attend at the Ontario Provincial Police Forensics Building in the City of Peterborough, at Curve Lake First Nation Health Centre or at the Anishinabek Police Detachment in Curve Lake, where they can take advantage of this opportunity drop off their expired prescription medications safely and conveniently.
The process will be quick and simple and participants may not even have to leave their vehicles.
