(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Sunday the 27th of April 2014, officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) spoke with a male driver parked on Hastings Street North in the Town of Bancroft. Officers detected alcohol on his breath and he failed a roadside alcohol test. He was arrested and transported to the Bancroft OPP detachment for breath tests.
35 year old David JENKINS of Hamilton, Ontario has been charged with care and control with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood and care and control while impaired. Mr. JENKINS was released from custody on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on the 10th of June 2014.
