(SOUTH-WEST OXFORD, ON.) – An officer from Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a local driver twice within one hour as a result of two separate traffic stops on April 28, 2014.
The OPP officer conducted the first traffic stop at approximately 10:34 a.m. on Beachville Road at Foldens Line. As a result of this initial traffic stop, the male driver was found to be not licensed, was served a notice of suspension and summons to attend Provincial Offences Court. The male driver was stopped a second time operating the same vehicle at approximately 11:28 a.m. on Beachville Road at Mill Line. As a result of this traffic stop the driver was arrested, charged further.
During both vehicle stops the driver was operating a Dodge Ram pickup.
Jason VANWELL, 25 years old of Ingersoll has been served with Provincial Offences Act summons requiring him to attend Provincial Court in Woodstock on May 28, 2014 to answer to the following charges laid against him:
Drive while under suspension – 2 counts (Highway Traffic Act)
Speeding (Highway Traffic Act)
