(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) -On April 27, 2014 at approximately 1:22 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was observing northbound traffic on Highway 6, near Laird Road, Guelph. A female driving a 2013 Honda was traveling at a high rate of speed and the officer obtained a speed on radar of 150 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
Her driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Alison MACKAY age 52 of Mississauga is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. She is to appear in Guelph Court on June 4, 2014 to answer to the charge.
