(Huron East, ON) – On June 8, 2011 at approximately 10:00 pm, Huron OPP officers went to a Brussels residence to follow up on information received regarding an investigation. When they got to the door, the officers were met by a very angry and intoxicated woman. The woman was belligerent with officers and then assaulted one of the officers. As a result of the altercation, the woman was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing on June 10th in Goderich.
Katherine UPSHALL (36) of Huron East has been charged with one count of Assault Police, one count of Utter Threat to Cause Bodily Harm and one count of Breach Undertaking. The officer was not injured.
