(EXETER, ON) – On Monday June 20, 2011 at approximately 4:44 p.m., Huron OPP officers were dispatched to a collision at the intersection of Main St. and Alexander St. West in Exeter.
Investigation revealed that a 20 year old Exeter female was rollerblading on the sidewalk along Main St. when she came to the intersection of Alexander St. She crossed Alexander St. on which a pickup truck was approaching. The pickup truck made contact with the female roller blader as she crossed. The female sustained serious but non life threatening injuries and was transported to Exeter Hospital. The pickup truck driver, a 46 year old Exeter male has been charged with failing to yield to pedestrian”. “
