(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Friday July 22, 2011 at approximately 4:30 p.m. a Perth County OPP officer was on patrol on Road 140 south of Teviotdale when a fast moving car was observed by the officer. The speed of the vehicle was locked in on the police radar at 142 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
As a result of traveling 62 km above the speed limit, a 24 year old female from Howick Township will have to appear in Stratford court on August 23, 2011 to answer to the charge of racing a motor vehicle. The female’s driver’s licence was suspended for seven days and her car was impounded for a week.
