(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is seeking the public’s assistance after responding to an incident at a Grigg Drive, Simcoe Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
Between Saturday, June 28, 2014 and Monday, June 30, 2014, unknowns attended the Simcoe and District Humane Society and proceeded to place packages of suspected rodent poison that was mixed with kibble around the Humane Society’s building.
Through investigation it was determined that the kibble was placed under a pine tree, picnic table, wood shed and near the Humane Society’s office. Another package of suspected poison was also located near the office and was distributed around the property grounds.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
