(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Monday, June 30, 2014 at approximately 4:31 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an erratic driver travelling eastbound on Hwy. 21 towards Owen Sound. It was reported that the suspect vehicle, a 2001 Honda, was driving into oncoming traffic.
The vehicle was located in the parking lot of McDonald’s Restaurant on Hwy. 6 & 21 on the Sunset Strip in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. The lone female, who was still seated in the driver’s seat, displayed signs of impairment by drug. She was arrested and transported to the Chatsworth Detachment where she was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert Officer who determined that the driver was impaired by drug.
Tracey WILSON, 49, of Chesley, Ontario was charged with the criminal offence of Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle While Impaired by Drug.
She is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, July 17, 2014.
