On Thursday, July 3, 2014 a 33 year old Cambridge male was arrested in relation to this incident. This male was found to be in possession of a prohibited weapon. The arrested male was charged with assault, forcible confinement, threats and weapons offences. He will appear in court July 4. Police are not seeking additional suspects in this matter.

On Wednesday June 26, 2014 a 16 year old male Cambridge youth was forcibly confined and assaulted at a Woodside Avenue, Cambridge apartment. The offenders left the residence briefly and the victim, fearing for his life, managed to get free and jumped from a third story window to the ground. The victim fortunately suffered only minor injuries. A young person has been arrested and an additional suspect has yet to be located. This was a targeted act.
