(STRATHROY-CARADOC, ON) – On July 6, 2014 at approximately 11:16 p.m. Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of an erratic driver on the westbound lanes of Highway 402 by Colonel Talbot Road.
Police stopped the suspect vehicle on Highway 402 in the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc. It was apparent the driver was impaired and had been drinking. The driver was arrested and transported to the Strathroy OPP detachment for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Trevor KOT, age 43 of Haldimand County, ON was charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused has been released from custody by way of a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in a London courtroom August 21, 2014 to speak to the charges.
