(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On July 7, 2014 at approximately 1:10am, officers of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 11 near Kitchener Street, Emo, ON. A vehicle had struck a hydro pole resulting in loss of power within the Township of Emo. The power has since been restored.
A 51 year old female driver, two adult passengers and two youth passengers were taken to hospital. The injuries were not life threatening.
The investigation is ongoing. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
