(KENORA, ON) Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Kenora Street Crime Unit (SCU) and Organized Crime and Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) made a drug seizure in a result of a traffic stop on Highway 17A on July 9, 2014 at approximately 7:00pm. The police investigation resulted in the arrest of the male driver and search of the vehicle. Police located approximately 40 grams of Methamphetamine inside the vehicle. The drugs have an estimated street value of $8,000.
As a result of the investigation, Glendon LORANGER, age 56 of Kenora has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
He is to appear in court on August 7, 2014 to answer to the charge.
