(ARCHIPELAGO TWP, ON) – On July 12, 2014 at approximately 5:34 p.m. the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Muskoka Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Ornge Air Ambulance Services responded to a boating collision on Georgian Bay off of Woods Bay in Archipelago Township.
A 14’ aluminum fishing boat was being operated on Georgian Bay when a 58 year old male passenger was ejected. He sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the incident. Alcohol was not a factor in the collision. The investigation is on-going.
