KENORA MAN CHARGED IN BREAK AND ENTER

(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Kenora OPP Street Crime Unit with assistance from the Organized Crime and Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) Kenora Drug Unit have charged a Kenora man following a break and enter investigation.

On Tuesday July 15, 2014 shortly after 12:00 noon, the Kenora OPP received a call of a possible break and enter to a home in the Lakeside Area of Kenora. The police investigation led to the recovery of several stolen firearms and ammunition.

As a result, 20 year old Randel BEACHAM of Kenora has been charged with Breaking, Entering and Stealing Firearms contrary to section 98(1)(b) of the Criminal Code. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
