(Prince Edward County, ON)â€â€On July 19, 2014 at 3:17am the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment, were called to the Sandbanks Provincial Park regarding a couple that were unaccounted for.
Prince Edward County OPP officers with the assistance of the OPP Emergency Response Team, OPP K-9, OPP Marine Unit, the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) Trenton and Sandbanks Provincial Park Enforcement searched the area and shoreline of Lakeshore Lodge Road.
A man and woman from the Toronto area were located by police at 9:14am within the park.
