(Prince Edward County, ON)â€â€On July 26, 2014 at 4:19pm a woman contacted the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment reporting that she had been assaulted.
The police investigation revealed the complainant had attended a house party on Lake St., Picton earlier that morning. The woman was assaulted by man and woman. No weapons were involved. The victim was treated at hospital for minor injuries.
On the night of July 27, 2014OPP made arrests in the case.
A 24-year old female, Danielle GAGNON of Picton, ON is charged with Assault, contrary to Section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada and Breach of Probation, contrary to Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
A 20-year old male, Dalton ROSENBLATH of Picton, ON is charged with Assault, contrary to Section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Both parties were later released from police custody on a promise to appear and undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton on August 20, 2014.
