(NAPANEE, ON) – On July 29, 2014 at approximately 3:40pm, officers of the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reponded to a serious crash on Highway 401, westbound, west of Exit 556 (Shannonville).
Two (2) passenger vehicles and a tractor-trailer were involved resulting in serious injuries. One person is confirmed deceased.
As a result of the crash, Highway 401 westbound is closed for the investigation between Marysville Road and Highway 37, Belleville.
