(NAPANEE, ON) – On July 30, 2014 at approximatley 6:15am, Napanee officers of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a crash on Highway 401, eastbound, near Mitchells Road, east of Highway 37, Belleville.
A tractor trailer, carrying furniture, struck the barrier and caught fire. The driver received moderate unjuries.
As a result of the crash and subsequent fire, Highway 401 eastbound is closed. Please follow detours. The raod will need to be assessed prior to being reopened.
