(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers were advised of a stolen Kubota tractor that was in a vehicle travelling east bound on the 403 Highway in the County of Brant.
At approximately 12:48 a.m. on July 30th, 2014 officers stopped an International Stake truck on the 403 Highway near King George Road. Two occupants from the truck fled on foot in the City of Brantford. The Brantford City Police Canine Unit attended the scene and one of the male suspects was arrested. Officers checked the truck and located two stolen Kubota tractors.
Richard CHAISSON 56 years of age from the City of Hamilton is facing the following Criminal charges
Possession of Property obtained by Crime Over $5,000.00
Fail to Comply with Recognizance
The accused is currently being held before for the courts.
