(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – On August 4th, 2014 at approximately 12:00 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Wasaga Beach Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedics responded to a 2 vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Klondike Park Road east of Power line Road.
An initial OPP investigation revealed that a westbound motorcycle entered into the eastbound land on a curve and collided with an eastbound motor vehicle.
The motorcycle operator a 70 year old male from Wasaga Beach was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police did have a section of Klondike Road closed to aid in investigating this collision. This section of roadway is now open.
The investigation into this collision is ongoing.
