(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment have charged a 52 year old male after police responded to an incident at a Grove Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Saturday, August 2, 2014 at approximately 12:04 a.m., police responded to an address after being contacted by a concerned citizen.
Through investigation it has been determined that the 52 year old male became involved in a verbal altercation with three other individuals. During the incident a weapon was produced however no injuries were reported.
As a result of police investigation, police arrested and charged 52 year old John Glenn TREMERE of Norfolk County, Ontario with the following offences.
Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm X 3
Uttering threats to injure animal
Assault with a weapon
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
