(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) City of
Kawartha Lakes detachment is currently at the scene of a fatal single motor vehicle collision on County Road 24 just south of Bobcaygeon.
County Road 24 is currently closed from Mansfield Street in Bobcaygeon to Kenstone Beach Road and is expected to be closed for the next several hours while police investigate.
Initial investigation confirms that one person has died at the scene and a second person has been transported to a local area hospital in an unknown condition. No information about either person is known at this time.
