MALE CHARGED WITH WEAPONS OFFENCES

(Selwyn Township, ON) – On Wednesday August 6, at approximately 9:30 p.m.., members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate a report of a weapons complaint at a Morris Avenue residence.

Officers attended learned that tow brothers at the residence had become involved in a verbal altercation that quickly became a violent one that resulted in Police being called through 911.

The accused 29 year old Daniel MASTERS of Selwyn Township was reported to have become involved in a confrontation with his younger sibling confronted 22 year old Alexander MASTERS of Selwyn Township.

An investigation was conducted and as a result a Daniel MASTERS as been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Weapons Dangerous.

The male has been held for a Bail Hearing scheduled for Thursday, August 7 in Peterborough Provincial Courts.

The victim received no injuries as a result of the incident.
