OPP INVESTIGATING THEFT OF CHILDREN’S PLAY EQUIPMENT

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a theft from a Norfolk Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Thursday, August 7, 2014 at approximately 4:00 a.m., the homeowner was awoken to sounds outside their residence. Upon exiting the home, they observed that unknowns had removed a multi-coloured play set from the driveway.

The children’s play set is being described as a Little Tykes playground centre.

The OPP are continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.

The OPP want to remind all community residents that if they observe any suspicious activity to please contact the police immediately.
