(South Glengarry, ON) – On the 07th of August 2014, SD&G OPP officers were responding to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 401 in South Glengarry Township.
A 2013 blue Toyota Tundra pick-up truck was located in the median at 9:40 am which had been reported stolen from the city of Ottawa on the 26th of July 2014.
The investigation revealed a lone male had been operating the motor vehicle and left the scene on foot. The SD&G OPP located the male in question a short time later and he was taken into custody.
Twenty – one (21) year old, Marc BELL from Ottawa, Ontario is charged with:
– Possession Property obtained by Crime over $ 5,000 under the Criminal Code of Canada
– Fail to comply with probation order under the Criminal Code of Canada
– Possession of Schedule I Substance [ ecstasy] under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act
– Possession of Schedule II Substance [ marihuana] under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act
The male was detained and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Cornwall on the 08th of August 2014.
