(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) -On August 8, 2014 at approximately 1:45 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was patrolling Highway 23 near 5th Line, Town of Minto and observed a 1987 Yamaha motorcycle driving at a high rate of speed. The female driver was locked on radar at 136 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. During the investigation, it was revealed that the driver did not possess the proper drivers licence and there was no evidence that the motorcycle was insured.
Her driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.

Race a Motor Vehicle- Highway Traffic Act (H.T.A.)
Drive a Motor With No Licence-H.T.A
Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance- Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
She is to appear in Guelph Court on September 17, 2014 to answer to the charges.
