(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Thursday, August 14, 2014 at approximately 7:31 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the Meaford Fire Department and Grey County Emergency Services (EMS) responded to a fire on Boucher Street West in the Municipality of Meaford.
At the time, an 18 year old Meaford female was air lifted to a Toronto hospital with serious injuries. She has since died as a result of the injuries.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has been called in to assist with the investigation. Foul play is not suspected.
