(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding the public to remove wallets and purses along with other valuables from their motor vehicle after a theft was reported at a Hawtrey Raod, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in the early morning hours, unknowns attended the address and entered two unlocked motor vehicles located in the driveway of the residence. Once inside, unknowns removed two wallets that contained personal and financial information.
“Police are urging all residents to remove their wallets and purses from their vehicle. The theft of any wallet or purse puts the owners at risk for identity fraud,†comments Constable Ed Sanchuk, Norfolk County OPP Detachment.
