(ORO-MEDONTE, ON) – On August 18, 2014 at approximately 1:00 p.m., officers from Barrie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft of cash incident at Mac’s Convenience Store, 1555 Hwy 11 North, Oro-Medonte Twp While the owner of the store was outside, a male suspect entered the store and went to a private area where an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen. The suspect subsequently exited the business. The suspect movement throughout this theft was captured on the store’s video surveillance, and a copy of this video surveillance was obtained by police. Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify this male.
