(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a Break and Enter at an Old Highway 24, Waterford, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, September 2, 2014 between 12:47 a.m. and 3:15 a.m., unknowns attended Swazees Bar and gained entry. Once inside, unknowns removed a large quantity of alcohol and Canadian currency.
The theft is being valued at approximately $6,000 dollars.
The OPP recognize that break and enters continue to remain an all-too common occurrence in Canada, with more than 200,000 reported to police annually of which 6 in 10 are residential. Another 30% are businesses and 10% are other locations such as sheds and detached garages.
