(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Kenora man for an impaired driving offence following a report of a possible impaired driver.
On Saturday August 30, 2014 shortly after 3:00 am, police were notified there was a vehicle in a parking lot on Highway 17 East in Kenora and the driver may have been drinking. Police attended and located the vehicle. Police attended and determined the male had been consuming alcohol. He was arrested and transported for further tests.
As a result of this investigation, 32 year old Collin GOYMAN of Kenora has been charged with Having Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood, contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada. He is to appear in Kenora Court on October 30, 2014 to answer to the charge.
