Peter STECKLER – 138 in a 60

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment have charged a 56 year old male with stunt driving after police stopped a motorcycle at a New Lake Shore Road, Woodhouse, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Saturday, September 6, 2014 at approximately 2:20 p.m., police observed a motorcycle that appeared to be travelling at a high rate of speed eastbound on New Lake Shore Road.

The motorcyclist ran through radar and recorded a reading of 138km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.

Police have charged 56 year old Peter STECKLER of Woodstock, Ontario with Stunt Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

OPP are reminding all motorists that the minimum fine for Stunt Driving, if convicted is $2,000 and an automatic drivers licence suspension for 7 days.

He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
