FATAL COLLISION IN ZORRA TOWNSHIP Police Seek To Identify Witness

(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON.) – Members of the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle collision on the 19th Line at Road 64 in Zorra Township at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Sunday September 7, 2014.

The head on collision occurred when a westbound Chevrolet motor vehicle crossed the center lane and struck an eastbound motorcycle.

The male motorcycle driver, Andrezej KLOC, 55 year of London, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The lone male driver of the other vehicle was transported to an area hospital for minor injuries where he was treated and released.

OPP have charged the driver of the Chevrolet motor vehicle, George PICKERING, 70 years old of Zorra Township, with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:

Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death
Causing Death by Criminal Negligence

OPP are looking to speak to any and all witnesses who attended the scene to provide assistance and have not yet spoken to police. Specifically a female who identified herself as a nurse, believed to be in her 20’s, with long brown hair, who arrived on the scene and assisted prior to police arrival on the scene. This unknown female Good Samaritan had a brief conversation with at least one OPP member on the scene.
