(NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter to a business on Highway 59 South in Norwich Township, which occurred sometime overnight between September 10, 2014 at 9:45 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. on September 11, 2014.
Stolen from Country Transport was a tractor trailer containing beer with an approximate value of $25,000. The beer stolen included:
144 Cases of Dos XX Amber Beer (bottles)
576 Cases of Dos Equis Lager (cans)
600 Cases of Sol (bottles)
The description of the tractor is as follows:
2006 blue International, Model 94001, semi-tractor that had “Country Transport†and “Magic Transport†decals on it.
The description of the trailer is as follows:
2001, 53’ white Stoughton trailer, model AVW, semi-trailer bearing Ontario marker H3339N that had “Country Transport†decals on the side and rear of the trailer.
The OPP is asking residents to be vigilant for suspicious vehicles or persons that may be in your neighbourhoods. The public should try to get descriptions, licence plate numbers, direction of travel and report the information immediately to their local police service. It is important for this information to get to police when the suspects may still be in the area.
