(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a male driver regarding a traffic complaint on Highway 17, Kirkup Township.
On September 17, 2014 shortly after 10:00am, the OPP were advised of a mini-van following too closely to another vehicle travelling westbound. The complainant pulled over to the side of the highway and the mini-van driver pulled over as well. At that time a confrontation ensued between the two drivers.
As a result of this investigation, David YEE age 50 of Vancouver British Colombia has been charged with Assault with a Weapon contrary to section 267(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
He is to appear in Kenora court on November 6, 2014 to answer to the charges.
