(MAPLETON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On September 23, 2014 at approximately 5:57 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call from an employee of a Drayton business who was concerned about a customer’s sobriety who was driving. Vehicle description and details were provided to police.
Officers patrolled the area and located the driver pulling into his residence.
Police spoke with the driver of the 2011 Chevrolet and observed obvious signs of impairment. The male was arrested and subsequently transported to a local Operations Centre for testing.
The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle impounded for seven days.
Bradley MANION age 60 of Mapleton Township has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on October 17, 2014 to answer to the charges.
