(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Thursday the 16th of October 2014, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received the report of a domestic related incident in the Municipality of Highlands East. Investigation revealed that a male had entered a residence and taken photos of an adult female without her permission.
A 45 year old male of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands was arrested and has been charged with:
Break and enter
Voyeurism
Voyeurism – distribute a recording
Criminal harassment
Utter threats
Possession of marihuana
He has been held pending a bail hearing and his next scheduled court appearance is at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, Ontario on the 20th of October 2014.
The incident is a domestic investigation and the identity of the male charged will not be released.
