(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) -On October 23, 2014 at approximately 7:22 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was patrolling Highway 6 near Wellington Road 51, Guelph Eramosa Township and observed a male driving a 2007 Mazda at a high rate of speed. It was locked on radar travelling at 167 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Timothy PRUDENCE age 47of Fergus is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Court on December 3, 2014 to answer to the charge.
