(SPRINGWATER TWP., ON.) – On October 23rd, 2014 at approximately 5:45 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Springwater Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a multi motor vehicle collision (MVC) involving 3 vehicle at the intersection of Crossland Road and Flos Road #4.
As a result of this collision a 59 year old male from Etobicoke, Ontario a driver of one of the involved motor vehicles was transported to hospital via air ambulance in serious but non-life threatening condition. In addition another driver in a different motor vehicle a 34 year old female from Wasaga Beach was also transport to hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation into this collision is still ongoing with the assistance of our Central Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation unit.
OPP did have a section of Crossland Road and Flos Road #4 closed for several hours to aid in the investigation of this collision.
