(NORTH BAY, ON) – On October 27, 2014 at approximately 6:30 a.m. North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision on Highway 17, in the construction zone near Dube Road. A westbound Chevrolet Cruze entered into the eastbound lane, striking an eastbound transport. Driver of the Chevrolet had to be extricated from vehicle by East Ferris Fire Department. Both driver and passenger of Chevrolet were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigation into the collision is ongoing with charges pending.
