Alysa SIMPSON – Drunk Driving

(Oro-Medonte, ON) – On October 27, 2014 at 4:05 am Officers from the Barrie detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged a motorist with drinking and driving offences after receiving a traffic complaint.

A member of the public reported a silver Chevy Acadia traveling southbound on highway 11 in Oro-Medonte Twp. The vehicle was reported to be weaving all over the road and traveling below the posted speed limit.

30-year old Alysa SIMPSON of Mississauga was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Drive Motor Vehicle Over 80 milligrams of alcohol.

Her licence was suspended for a period of 90 days under the Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) program and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days. She is scheduled to appear at the Provincial Courts in Barrie.
